Atlanta Hawks Notes, Quotes 2009-01-10
--G Acie Law IV met the team here Thursday night, coming in from in Dallas where he was tending to personal matters. Law returned to Atlanta with the team after the game. He missed the entire week with an ailing family member back in Texas, and said he would also be on the team's Western Conference road trip next week. He came off the bench early in the second quarter with the game already out of hand but ended up leading the Hawks in scoring with 16 points.

--C Zaza Pachulia has been out since Tuesday with the flu. But Woodson said he expects him back on the practice floor today, and possibly back in uniform for Sunday afternoon's game against Philadelphia at Philips Arena.

"I could use him tonight," Hawks coach Mike Woodson said of Pachulia, the Hawks' tallest and heaviest player.

QUOTE TO NOTE: "This season's been great so far but to lose like this. They just came out from the gate and hit us and we never hit back. We never stepped up to the challenge. And with the season we're having, we've played pretty well until the last couple of nights. We just have to put this one behind us and move forward." -- Hawks captain and All-Star Joe Johnson.
