--G Acie Law IV still hasn't found the comfort zone he operated in during a stellar preseason since the regular season began. He's been hesitant to shoot the ball and much more indecisive than he was during the preseason. Something will have to be done to ease his mind so he can get back to playing the way he was a month ago.

--C Zaza Pachulia will see increased action now that Josh Smith is out of the picture for the immediate future. That means Pachulia will start at center and Al Horford will move to power forward, giving the Hawks a bigger starting frontline than usual.

--G Mario West poked his head off the bench for about five minutes of action against the Raptors, and true to his reputation, West didn't leave the game without making his mark. He had a fantastic block of a Joey Graham layup attempt in the fourth quarter, catching up to the play from behind and smashing the ball off the backboard.
