Atlanta Hawks Roster Report 2008-11-20

Atlanta Hawks Roster Report 2008-11-20
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Mike Bibby, Shooting guard Joe

Johnson, Small forward Mo Evans, Power forward Marvin Williams, Center

Zaza Pachulia. Bench -- Guard Flip Murray, Guard Acie Law IV, Forward

Othello Hunter, Forward Solomon Jones.

PLAYER NOTES:

--G Mike Bibby was the man against the Wizards, leading the Hawks

with 25 points. He even rekindled his hot-shot glory days in

Sacramento with a monster 15-point third quarter to keep the Hawks

afloat during Caron Butler's one-man assault. The Hawks better hope

Bibby has more left in the tank for tough games this week against

Charlotte (Friday) and in Cleveland (Saturday).

--C Zaza Pachulia managed just four points but his career-high 18

rebounds is what will keep him out of coach Mike Woodson's doghouse.

Pachulia missed two huge free throws in the final minute, but was

rescued by the late-game heroics of Marvin Williams.

--G Acie Law IV had another solid showing in his limited time

against the Wizards, making it hard to understand what more the

second-year point guard needs to do to earn the trust of Hawks coach

Mike Woodson. Law is never going to be the veteran Woodson feels

comfortable with on the floor if he doesn't get the playing time now.

MEDICAL WATCH:

--C Al Horford sprained his right ankle against Indiana Tuesday

night and missed Wednesday's win over Washington. He's expected to try

and return for Friday's game against Charlotte.
