Atlanta Hawks Roster Report 2008-12-14
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Mike Bibby, Shooting guard Joe Johnson, Small forward Marvin Williams, Power forward Josh Smith, Center Al Horford. Bench -- Guard Flip Murray, Guard Acie Law IV, Guard Mario West, Guard Mo Evans, Guard Speedy Claxton, Forward Thomas Gardner, Forward Othello Hunter, Forward Solomon Jones, Forward/Center Zaza Pachulia, Center Randolph Morris.

--G Mike Bibby was the Hawks' Mr. Big Shot on Saturday night, going to town repeatedly with the Cleveland defense locked in on Joe Johnson down the stretch. Bibby finally seems to be back in form after struggling with his shot earlier in the week.

--F Josh Smith played well against the Cavaliers, and more important, he played under control, a huge issue the past week. He only took eight shots, making eight of them, and made one of the biggest plays of the night with a block of a Delonte West 3-point attempt that would have tied the game with 45 seconds to play.

--G Flip Murray played huge minutes for the Hawks against the Cavaliers but didn't really get going. The Hawks are going to need Murray to have his mojo on during this eight-game homestand, because it'll be tough for the team to lean on only its starters for major production over the next three weeks.
