ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Mike Bibby, Shooting guard Joe Johnson, Small forward Marvin Williams, Power forward Josh Smith, Center Al Horford. Bench -- Guard Flip Murray, Guard Acie Law IV, Guard Mario West, Guard Mo Evans, Guard Speedy Claxton, Forward Thomas Gardner, Forward Othello Hunter, Forward Solomon Jones, Forward/Center Zaza Pachulia, Center Randolph Morris.
PLAYER NOTES: --G Flip Murray is still trying to find his way, having shot just 2-for-6 from the floor Saturday night. Murray's struggles have more to do with his inability to play like a traditional point guard than anything else. He's simply not cut from the mold of a pass-first point guard, which is what the Hawks need when the second unit is on the floor.
--G Acie Law IV is the point guard the Hawks need with the second unit, but he has clearly fallen out of favor with coach Mike Woodson, piling up his fourth DNP-CD in the past two weeks, a stunning number for any team's healthy backup point guard. Something has to give between now and the trade deadline.
--C Zaza Pachulia is a master of disguise. Because whatever problem he has with his inconsistent minutes, he's not showing it with his play. Pachulia's been fantastic off the bench in every showing during the Hawks' homestand. Saturday night was no different, as he finished with 10 points and seven rebounds in just 21 minutes.
