Atlanta Hawks Roster Report 2009-01-16
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Mike Bibby, Shooting guard Joe Johnson, Small forward Marvin Williams, Power forward Josh Smith, Center Al Horford. Bench -- Guard Flip Murray, Guard Acie Law IV, Guard Mario West, Guard Mo Evans, Guard Speedy Claxton, Forward Thomas Gardner, Forward Othello Hunter, Forward Solomon Jones, Forward/Center Zaza Pachulia, Center Randolph Morris.

--G Mike Bibby proved once again that he doesn't have to score in bunches to be effective. He played the role of facilitator and game manager against the Clippers and he performed his duties well. The Hawks got solid efforts up and down the roster thanks to Bibby's direction.

--F Solomon Jones continues to impress with whatever he gets. He was a presence on both ends of the floor against the Clippers. And he's shown that he's more than capable of playing consistent minutes, and not just when there is an injury to one of the regulars.

--C Zaza Pachulia was active from start to finish against the Clippers and was one of the only Hawks to well in the early going. Pachulia is finally relying on what got him to the league (rugged defense and rebounding). That's a great sign for the Hawks, who still don't know for certain how long Al Horford is going to be out.

--C Al Horford is out indefinitely with a bone bruise in his right knee.
