PLAYER NOTES: --F Marvin Williams shook off the rust of some early-season struggles to finish with 14 points on 5-for-12 shooting. It was a much-needed ego boost for the starting small forward. --C Al Horford chewed up the Heat inside, finishing with 16 points and 12 rebounds, his second straight double double performance. --F Josh Smith turned in his third straight monster effort, finishing with 16 points, 14 rebounds, seven assists, two steals and two blocks. He did, however, take a 3-pointer. He vowed before the season to stop shooting from that distance. But had to when he launched a buzzer-beater at the end of the third quarter.
