He scored a team-high 31 points. --F Marvin Williams continues to be a punching bag for critics who still complain that he's isn't tough enough. But they have to hush for at least this weekend after his career-best, 15-rebound effort against the Mavericks. --F Joe Smith came off the bench and provided quality minutes that the Hawks desperately needed against an experienced Mavericks crew.
