PLAYER NOTES: --F Marvin Williams had a monster night, finishing with 14 points and 10 rebounds and some stellar defense on LeBron James, particularly in the fourth quarter. But it wasn't enough to get the Hawks over the hump.
--C Zaza Pachulia had a big night off the bench with 11 points and eight rebounds and he was a huge factor in the Hawks' comeback effort. He was the physical presence inside in the second half and especially down the stretch.
--C Al Horford was whistled for the final foul of the game, but that was after he put up 10 points, 10 rebounds and two blocks against the Cavaliers' towering frontline. Horford continues his ascent since the All-Star break.
MEDICAL WATCH:
--G Speedy Claxton remains on the inactive list with a hamstring injury and doesn't appear to be in the Hawks' plans anytime soon.
