Atlanta Hawks Roster Report 2009-04-08

Atlanta Hawks Roster Report 2009-04-08
ROTATION: Starters -- Point guard Mike Bibby, Shooting guard Joe Johnson, Small forward Marvin Williams, Power forward Josh Smith, Center Al Horford. Bench -- Guard Flip Murray, Guard Acie Law IV, Guard Mario West, Guard Mo Evans, Guard Speedy Claxton, Forward Thomas Gardner, Forward Othello Hunter, Forward Solomon Jones, Forward/Center Zaza Pachulia, Center Randolph Morris.

PLAYER NOTES:

--C Randolph Morris is one of the players that will benefit the most from the Hawks picking up the pace and shaking off their rust and getting back to winning. The sooner they lock up the fourth seed, the more the reserves like Morris get to see the floor.

--F Marvin Williams was the king of the Hawks' locker room pool, predicting that his North Carolina Tar Heels would win the NCAA title. Williams didn't actually win the pool (a Hawks front office staffer took home those honors), but he still claimed to be the "King of the Pool."

--C Zaza Pachulia could use one of his breakout performances this week. It would help his own cause -- he's struggled the past three games -- as well as his team's cause.

MEDICAL WATCH:

F Marvin Williams is out indefinitely with a lower back injury.
