TODAY'S GAME PHOENIX Suns at WASHINGTON Wizards When: Sunday, 1 p.m. | Where: Verizon Center | TV/radio: CSN, FM-106.7
Probable starters: Suns - F Grant Hill, F Amare Stoudemire, C Channing Frye, G Steve Nash, G Jason Richardson. Wizards - F Fabricio Oberto, F Caron Butler, C Brendan Haywood, G Nick Young, G Gilbert Arenas.
Injuries: Suns - Questionable: F Leandro Barbosa (wrist). Out: C Robin Lopez (knee). Wizards - Out: F Antawn Jamison (shoulder), G Mike Miller (shoulder), G Javaris Crittenton (foot).
Notes: The Wizards didn't fare well against an athletic Indiana Pacers team that likes to get out and run, and they will face a team that has a similar style - but is better - in the Suns. Mike James and Randy Foye called this game a must-win; the Wizards aim to stop a three-game skid and resume making progress in Flip Saunders' system. "It's the biggest test for us all year," Foye said. "We're going to be tested more, but this next game coming up is big. We'll be playing at home, we're playing a similar team to this but better, who likes to get up and down the floor. They've got a great point guard in Steve Nash, a dynamic player who likes to get up in Amare Stoudemire, and great shooters around him. Our focus from the first quarter to the horn blows [is] we've got to strap on our hard hats and bring it."
